Deals round-up: Ebay US 15% off coupon makes for cheap graphics cards

Plus other PC hardware offers for the US and UK.

Looking to buy a premium graphics card like the GTX 1080 Ti, a new monitor or some other tech gear? Today's your lucky day, as UK retailers have some interesting GPU deals while Ebay.com is running a site-wide promotion for up to $100 off.

First, Ebay is offering 15% off everything on their US site today, making it a good opportunity to pick up a new graphics card - or another big PC purchase - for up to $100 off. Use the code PICKSOON before 6PM PT on an order of $25 or more to qualify for the deal, and ensure your eBay account is registered in a qualifying country.

The $100 off maximum means that in order to use the discount to the full, you should be targeting items around the $666 mark - say, a new graphics card, monitor or NVMe SSD. However, you're not limited to just computer gear either - you can buy pretty much anything on the site, with a few exceptions. I personally picked up a new smartphone, but games consoles, tablets, laptops and other expensive single purchases would also make sense.

Here are some ideas for PC components and other products to pick up:

We had a look for some RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti cards but didn't find any good deals - sellers will sometimes raise their prices in response to a site-wide sale like this and any legitimate stock will be quickly exhausted, so finding a good deal can be a challenge. However, with all of Ebay to work with (minus the obvious gift card, money and real estate exclusions), there are bound to be good deals if you're willing to look. We recommend you stick with major sellers on Ebay like Newegg or EVGA, and remember that you'll need to pay today for the code to work - so sales and auctions ending before 6PM PT today are OK, but those ending afterwards are no good.

We also found that Best Buy has a nice deal on our favourite ultra-wide monitor, the 34-inch Alienware AW3418DW G-Sync 120Hz IPS 1440p at $830, down from its RRP of $1299.

Now for the UK deals - here's what we found in terms of graphics cards!

If you need a little more data before pulling the trigger, why not check out our recommendations for the best graphics cards? We've also got a comparison of the GTX 1080 Ti versus the RTX 2080, in case you're trying to decide between these two similarly priced cards. We've also written up our selections for the best mechanical keyboards and the best gaming monitors, both of which could be nice pickups when combined with the Ebay code above.
