Counter-Strike: Source released on Mac

Game discounted and updated.

Valve has announced the arrival of Counter-Strike: Source on Steam Play, which means the tactical shooter can now be played on Mac, and indeed against PC owners and vice versa.

To celebrate, creator Valve has slashed the game's asking price to £4.76. The sale lasts for two days, so make use of it while you can.

Counter-Strike: Source has also been heftily updated, receiving player stats, achievements, better scoreboards and a Death Cam that shows your killer. There are other bug fixes and engine updates under the hood, too.

Counter-Strike: Source was released in 2004. Eurogamer existed back then, and Tom Bramwell was on hand to analyse. Boom! Headshot.
