Circuit Superstars is a wonderfully dinky motorsport game from Square Enix

"We believe it's time to try something different."

Square Enix has just announced a new Collective game - and it looks like a delight. Circuit Superstars is set to launch in 2020 and it combines arcade-style racing with a realistic driving model. Just look at it!

Made by the six-person team Original Fire Games, Circuit Superstars features a range of on- and off-road racing categories, ranging from Rally, GT, classic cars and trucks.

"Over the last three decades we have seen a fascinating evolution of racing games," Carolina Mastretta, director and producer at Original Fire Games said. "And these days, we can drive almost any type of car on amazing recreations of the best tracks in the world. However, we believe it's time to try something different, and we want to do this by reviving a style that pioneered the racing genre decades ago."

Circuit Superstars will be headed for Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
