West/Zampella's Respawn at QuakeCon

Call of duty?

Dumped Call of Duty creators Jason West and Vincent Zampella will make their first public appearance since Activision gave them their marching orders at this year's QuakeCon.

They'll be there promoting their new studio Respawn Entertainment.

It's not known whether they'll be lifting the lid on their new EA-signed game.

West and Zampella will be part of the Building Blockbusters panel that takes place on 11am Friday, 13th August. That's 5pm UK time. They'll be joined on the panel by Tim Willits of id Software and Todd Howard from Bethesda.

Eurogamer editor Tom Bramwell will be at QuakeCon, covering the event live.
