Island Thunder Xbox completed

GameSpot reports that Ubi Soft has completed work on Island Thunder, the standalone Xbox expansion planned to mop up any excess interest in Ghost Recon. Announced earlier this year, Island Thunder comprises 12 game types, 12 multiplayer maps (four from the original Ghost Recon) and, crucially, support for Xbox Live. It's due out next week in the US, and on October 3rd in Europe.

Ubi Soft has also confirmed that Island Thunder will appear on PS2 on November 21st, although whether it will be compatible with PS2 Online is unknown at this stage. The original Ghost Recon PS2 package obviously was not.
