Due out alongside the PS2 and Xbox versions, too.

Codemasters has announced that Colin McRae Rally 2005 will appear on the PC after all, having previously announced the PS2 and Xbox versions towards the end of April. Better yet for PC owners, Codies says it's listened to fans' concerns and that as a result the PC version won't follow the lead of previous PC releases, which generally appeared a few months later with a slightly refined featureset.

Instead, the PC version will launch towards the end of September alongside its PS2 and Xbox counterparts, and sounds as though it will be largely the same in terms of features. Whether that means online play will feature is hard to say, but since both the console versions will go online it seems like quite a safe bet.
