ECTS 2003: Vivendi's line-up

Apparently HL2 isn't the extent of it. PSEx stuff too.

Vivendi has also confirmed its plans for ECTS, with the headline titles doubtless Valve's apparently peerless Half-Life 2 and strategy title Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus. The publisher had been planning to hold a special press event to showcase various Lord of the Rings titles the day before ECTS kicks off, but with that cancelled it looks like The Hobbit will have to make do - originally we'd been promised a peek at The Treason of Isengard, Middle-Earth Online and War of the Ring, but hey ho.

Other Vivendi titles on show will include Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (Xbox), which based on our E3 preview code will surprise nobody, even if it does let you control various other characters from its lengthy TV dynasty, Crash Nitro Kart, Metal Arms: A Glitch In The System, UK developer Argonaut's SWAT: Global Strike Team (we'll ask about CD keys) and The Simpsons: Hit And Run.

For the PlayStation Experience-going punter, Vivendi is planning displays of Buffy, Crash Nitro Kart, Dredd Vs. Death (apparently not on display at ECTS, but with code filtering to the press at the moment it shouldn't cause us too many headaches you'll be thrilled to hear), Metal Arms, The Hobbit and Simpsons: Hit And Run.

  • Half-Life 2 [PC]
  • Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus [PC]
  • The Hobbit [PC, PS2, Xbox, GC, GBA]
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds [Xbox]
  • Crash Nitro Kart [PS2, Xbox, GC]
  • Metal Arms: A Glitch In The System [PS2, Xbox, GC]
  • SWAT: Global Strike Team [PS2, Xbox]
  • The Simpsons: Hit And Run [PS2, Xbox, GC]
