The Atom looks great in Injustice 2

Quantum leap.

NetherRealm has released a gameplay video showing upcoming Injustice 2 DLC character The Atom - and it looks like the developer has nailed the superhero's look and feel.

The Atom uses a quantum bio-belt to change size. In the game, he can shrink and grow, with special moves that rely on this mechanic.

I particularly like how Atom can shrink to avoid projectiles (at one point he shrinks down to a tiny size to avoid Joker's crowbar attack), and fly into the body of his opponent (Bane hits his own head to force Atom out). Atom looks like a lot of fun to play as - and pretty annoying to play against.

The Atom is due out on 12th December. He's a part of the Fighter Pack 3, or you'll get him if you bought the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition. Also due out in Fighter Pack 3 are Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
