Hits PlayStation Network this month.

Metal Gear Solid 4 will be available to download from the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 on 17th December 2014, Konami has announced.

It's the debut digital release for Hideo Kojima's 2008 cinematic stealth game. Expect a 30GB download and a £19.99 / €19.99 price tag.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is set in the future, and sees a weary old Solid Snake go off on one last mission.

With MGS 4's first digital release Konami is setting up the launch of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, due out at some point in 2015.
