Tribes: Ascend Accelerate update announced

Hi-Rez Studios has announced a new update for Tribes: Ascend, called Accelerate.
The update speeds up the process of unlocking weapon upgrades and earning new items. Also included are 27 new weapon variants, two new Capture and Hold maps and "significant" balance adjustments.
Tribes: Ascend launched in April and quickly established itself as a popular free-to-play first-person shooter. At last count there were over one million players.
