Last PSP Digital Comics Store update

There will be no new comics added to the Digital Comics Store on PlayStation Portable, Sony has announced.

The team will instead focus on "bringing the comic service to other Sony devices", explained a post on the European PlayStation blog.

Is PlayStation Vita among those "other Sony devices"?

You'll still be able to buy comics on PSP, choosing from a vast library of around 4000 publications. Publishers include DC, Marvel, Devil's Due, IDW, Zenescope and more.

Each comic generally costs £1.19.

The Digital Comics Store went live on PSP at the end of 2009. Comics are read using a Digital Reader application.
