Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will let you play as Monkey Island hero Guybrush Threepwood.

Well, you'll be able to wear a Guybrush Threepwood skin, but it's a convincing and stylish one nonetheless.

"Yes, this is real," confirmed the game's Facebook page. "We just could not resist!"

The Force Unleashed II is due out on 26th October but development has been dogged by reports of a third game being cancelled, staff departures and low morale.

On top of that, the PSP version of TFUII was scrapped and the game's creative director Haden Blackman walked out after 13 years with the studio.

A demo's due out on the day of launch. Eurogamer went hands-on with The Force Unleashed II last month.
