Dead Rising 2 EU release brought forward

PC version arriving a week later, though.

The console versions of Capcom's zombie killer sequel Dead Rising 2 will be released across Europe on 24th September a week earlier than planned.

The PC version, however, will be released a week later, on 28th September.

"Good news for all you Zombie fans across Europe and Australia we're pleased to announce that the title will now launch on Friday 24th September for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with the PC version scheduled for 28th September," reads Capcom's European site.

Dead Rising 2 is being created by Canadian developer Blue Castle Games, but Capcom's Keiji Inafune is producing.

Keza MacDonald went hands-on for Eurogamer and survived to tell the tale.
