Ace Combat 6 demo this week

Part of the E3 hype-o-bration.

Namco Bandai buzzed the Internet tower today to confirm Ace Combat 6's impending playable arrival on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Microsoft's pre-E3 announcement of plans to bring all sorts of tasty content to Xbox Live Marketplace had promised demos, but lacked specifics.

The demo will show off new featured like the Allied Support System, which lets you call in aerial and naval friends to help battle the enemy.

Other new features include 16-player online action.

The Xbox 360-exclusive AC6, subtitled Fires of Liberation, is due out in PAL territories this autumn, and will be distributed by Atari.

You can check out trailers and other goodies on our Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation Xbox 360 gamepage.
