GT on PS1 seems so low resolution now!
    Fascinating to watch though.

Yet again another awesome Digital Foundry video. Absolutely loved it. Amazing to see how well the PS2 version still stands up and how impressive the PSP version is.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how good the PS1 version still looks. This is an eye-opening video.

Thanks for putting this together, DigitalFoundry. A great vid, and the sort of thing you'd think Sony might be putting out there to sell the (excellent) new game. I haven't played a GT game since 3 until the new one came along, and this video was entrancing.

Those 'premium' model cars look nice but there aren't very many in the game, most of the cars are 'standard' with low resolution, kinda just ripped straight from the PS2.

Those rain effects...looking lovely in that video, but in reality in-game, not so lovely. Rather than having your car kick up spray, my version seems to kick up giant pixels.

While the game may seem pretty at first, it's shallow, does not live up to the number of years and constant delays that have plagued it's development and ultimately falls flat up against the likes of Forza and even the Shift games. Please please please patch this monstrosity Sony/Polyphony Digital, even if it's just to address the collision detection, or lack of. And damage? NON-EXISTANT, unless you're in a 'premium' model car and even then you practically have to throw it off a cliff just to scratch the Knight Industries Two Thousand style impervious bodywork.
