This is looking extremely nice! Finally they seem to get the 'spray' right - as in staying in air. DiRT had this problem with dirt-/sanddust.

Also, Codemasters always seem to know their music with automobile games.

Please say they are building another Colin McRae Rally game with this engine when they are finished. DiRT2 was good but a proper rally game would be ace.

This is shaping up rather nicely. Not played a really good F1 game for ages (the last one that sticks in the head is F1 on PS1! even though it had hurrendous bugs).

    Release date Sept?

there has been a real lack in F1 games over the past few years

Very impressive. Nice visual effects and most
importantly they affect the driving behaviour
    and simulation of the cars.

Codemasters keep on the good work :)

Do Codies still have the BTCC (TOCA) license? This engine + Touring Cars and a whole load of British circuits we rarely get in video games would be awesome.

The rain in the cockpit view at 0:25 looks spot-on.

Looks good, but I seem to recall Geoff Crammond was doing those kind of variable weather scenarios ten years ago! How come it's taken so long for someone else to do it?

With over a dozen tracks (plus variations), I'm sure the market would support a game based on British motor sport. Not just the BTCC, but its support series and other cars to add variety and career stuff.

If the seriously disappointing Superstars V8 warrants a sequel, there's no reason at all why such a game wouldn't sell.
