Titan busy fixing Fat Princess
"We have it largely addressed."
Developer Titan Studios is busy fixing Fat Princess, and working on ironing out Ice Mage abuse, difficulty joining games and rank and point balance issues.
That's according to Titan's blog, where you can find an email address made specially handle the "flood" of bug-reports, complaints, praise and suggestions.
Fat Princess launched here last Thursday and scored a a 6/10 from Eurogamer.
The multiplayer tactical game has also suffered from accusations of lag and connection problems.
Titan has "a fix in testing" that should single-out low-pinging servers when searching, and has already established tweaks to sooth connection issues.
"We have already tested this patch on our own client machines, and performance appears to be dramatically improved. We are working with Sony now to get the patch into the Sony testing process as soon as possible," said the developer.
"For those of you having trouble - thanks again for your patience. Fat Princess went through comprehensive testing with Sony in the US and Europe, and a beta, but these issues did not manifest until the game went live at scale. Rest assured, we’re working on it, and think we have it largely addressed."

Would EG consider a quick re-review after this patch?

Okay, Ice Mages score a lot of points, but if its encouraging people to exercise a little crowd control (after all, ice does fuck all damage) then it can only be a good thing.
Point whoring cocks most Ice Mages may be, but at least they're doing something useful. Even if they don't realise it.
Lets hope its a tweak and not a sledgehammer fix.

They have already "fixed" it by removing the US price from the UK Playstation Blog article.

Why should their be a re-review? its not EG's fault this time that this game has its faults. Wii Tennis-gate was caused by the reviewer using his black market wii debug console not any bad programming.
Many amazing games have bad online play (the darkness) and yet still have good scores so what is the problem? if they game has a low score then I am fairly sure those 4 missing points were not just from the lag

I would say that overall, a better connection will benefit the experience greatly.
On a side note, EG has done re-reviews in the past without any conceivable reason (Remember that ridiculous Resistance re-review?)

I don't know what criteria the search function uses (it seems very random) but either way the game would be much better with a browser. Theres no excuse for not including one in an online game nowadays.
