Tim Curry to appear in Brutal Legend
He's replacing rocker Ronnie James Dio.
Tim Curry, star of The Rocky Horror Picture Show amongst several thousand other things, is doing a voiceover for Brutal Legend.
He's taking on the role previously assigned to rocker Ronnie James Dio, according to Blabbermouth.net. No official reason has been given for the switch.
At E3 earlier this month, Tim Schafer confirmed Ozzy Osbourne will appear in Brutal Legend. Other signups include Lita Ford, Rob Halford and Lemmy from Motorhead.
Brutal Legend is out on 16th October. Tim Curry is brilliant.

There's the reason for Dio pulling out, surely?

The demos I saw over E3 really put to rest the (ever-so) slight doubts I had about the game. You know that the game was always going to have entertaining characters, dialogue and such, but I had some misgivings about how it would play, but it looks very interesting and fairly non-repetitive from what they showed at E3, and the Overlord elements sound good as well.

More Tim Curry is always a plus though.

Then I looked up Tim Curry on Wiki. (Realized who it was the second I saw his picture)
While I'm somewhat disappointed about the lack of Dio, Tim Curry is certainly an good addition to the game.

Seriously, between Tim Curry and Tim Schafer, this could be brilliant.

Tim Curry is awesome. Close to god-like. Not quite, but oh so close.
(And it's Tim Curry as Frank all the way, although Anthony Head comes a very close second!)
