SSFII Turbo HD Remix "very soon"
XBLA and PSN wallets at the ready.
Capcom, teasingly, has told us Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 "very soon".
The publisher couldn't clarify an exact date, however - presumably due to unpredictable XBLA and PSN certification processes.
SSFII Turbo HD Remix is, of course, a revamp of the fighting game from 1994 - the first of the series to feature Akuma and super combo moves. Super Street Fighter II also introduced characters Cammy, Dee Jay, Fei Long and T. Hawk, while the Turbo part of the name added faster and more difficult combat.
The HD Remix brings 1080p redrawn graphics to the gable, plus a remixed OCR soundtrack and plenty of OCD tweaks to the painstakingly balanced fighting formula.
Head over to our Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix gallery for the very latest shots.

Here the character outlines look a bit blurred and DeeJays leg has scaling artifacts. So are the characters only redrawn at 720p, or is there some other reaon for the slightly worse image quality?

360 problems? Don't think so. The issue was having 2 soundtracks included while remaining under M$'s size limit for XBLA games.
Wisely they relaxed the rules as this is a high profile game.

I'll probably wait for SF4, thanks.

The digital pad sucks enormously for those hadoken or ( even worst ) shoryuken.

But yeah I agree with Dark Phoenix, the 360 pad is simply horrendous for 2D beat em ups, it feels awkward and unresponsive.
Will still be getting this though, maybe a Hori stick someday too.

The purists would probably still moan that their timing is off though.
