Ubisoft has popped off its piste to reveal a new snowboarding game based around actual real person Shaun White.

He's only 19, but he's won some extreme trophies and has "infused" his personality into the game, apparently.

Shaun White Snowboarding is built on the Assassin's Creed engine, although the publisher is coy over the platforms it will be appearing on, although PS3 and 360 should be a safe bet.

There will be the usual tricks to pull off and slopes to dominate, as well as a chance to kick back with your friends by throwing snowballs at them and making them hike with you to secret tracks.

Ubisoft is also promising a "seamless" transition between playing on your own and joining a friend online.

"I'm stoked to be working with Ubisoft to develop a video game that captures the thrill of snowboarding like no game has done before," said Shaun White. "I'm a huge fan of Ubisoft games like Prince of Persia, so I'm excited to be able to combine what I love about snowboarding and gaming into an experience for everyone to enjoy."

Shaun White snowboarding will be out this Christmas.
