Resistance 2 beta in early October News

Sony and Insomniac Games will be holding a worldwide co-operative and multiplayer beta test for Resistance 2 in early October.

There are two options for getting in: premier or open. The first guarantees a spot, but only if you live in the US and buy episode 3 or an annual subscription to Qore, the online PS3 magazine thing.

Open access is more chancey, but simply requires putting your name in the digital hat on the Resistance 2 beta site.

Resistance 2, the PS3 shooter sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man, will be released across the US on 4th November, Japan on 13th November, and Europe in "November". Sigh. We're checking.

It's not available in Europe unless you make a a US account...and Sony can't possibly be condoning that can they?

I just says on the site that I am unable to enter the open beta??

Not purchasing Qore just for a beta, its just Sony taking the p!ss really.

they must make a beta for eurpe, damm sony we buy the most games, look at us. Think first about europe :)

Hopefully game companies will start to recognise how important Europe is. Ubisoft just announced that Europe is the most important region for them due to the Euro and Pound being much stronger than the dollar. As long as this continues it can only be a good thing and a matter of time.

Beta for Uk confirmed in various sources : codes coming from various sources also
Was hoping that Eurogamer would have some ???? - hey mods.... give me one please...

preorder via play.com and they email a beta key to you mid oct (??) - check their site- genuine

I dont want to preorder , rather pick up on day of release..... postal system is crappy at times

I managed to register on the beta page so think im in the lottery for a key (knowing my luck .. i will fail spectacularily)

If anyone is lucky to get a spare key. id appreciate you passing it to me ... (really.. thanks in advance)
