POP Forgotten Sands slips a week
Out seven days before Hollywood film.
Ubisoft's revealed a one-week slip for new Prince of Persia game The Forgotten Sands.
The not-quite a movie tie-in will now be released for all formats - DS, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360 - on 21st May.
The PC version is still down for a June launch.
The Forgotten Sands hopes to resurrect the acclaimed but never topped Sands of Time gameplay. The formula's the same, but Ubisoft's added extra bits here and tweaks there to keep the game up to date.
Head over to our hands-on impressions of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands to see how the game's shaping up.

disclaimer : havnt played any portable versions
edit: If it has that stupid DRM, i will wait for bargain bin or amazing steam deal. The orginal was so much better on PC so rather that than my 360.

I mean the SoT(2003) as this is a follow up to that. Not the 1989 version, althourgh considering that was better on PC than on NES i can still hold the statement unless your counting the mega drive remake which i never played

But SoT was not released on the x360, only PC/PS2/Xbox/GC. And imho, it was way better on the PS2 mainly because of the controls, witch were much better with the ps2 gamepad.

You're trying to decide between a POP game and Red Dead Redemption? Are you alright in the head? Do you need to take some piils or something?

I think he's pointing out that PoP comes out the same day as RDR, and that the publisher's going to be disappointed over the sales; RDR will affect PoP's sales. No to mention that AW's coming out around the same week.
