FootMan 360/PSP dated

360 ver supports camera, too.

Sports Interactive and SEGA have announced that the Xbox 360 and PSP versions of Football Manager 2007 are finished and due out on 1st December.

Plus there's some news on features exclusive to the 360 version. For a start, you'll be able to use the recently released Xbox Live Vision camera to stick your face in the game.

You'll also find a new Fantasy Draft mode, where eight players compete in a round robin, picking players from the game's huge database to build their fantasy squad, and then engage in cup competition or leagues via Xbox Live.

SI MD Miles Jacobson says the team's been listening to feedback on previous console versions - "particularly regarding the control system on the Xbox 360" and is "confident of providing the best console and handheld management experiences to date".

"With loads of new features on each game and great improvements throughout, we want to prove to people that we are not just a PC developer anymore and can entertain on all platforms," Jacobson added.

And of course, for the 360 version there are the requisite Achievements to gather - with the game offering up 50 in all - although if the last release is anything to go by it'll take quite a while to accumulate the lot. Still, management's not easy, is it? Just look at Steve McClaren.

Hope the control system is better, although still enjoying last year's 360 version.

The ability to zoom in the pitch in replays would also help those of us with standard-def tellies and poor eyesight. :)

Great news. Just need to find out which firmware it'll be running on now.

Online mode sounds interesting. Still playing the first 360 footman too be honest, 26 games into the season and still unbeaten with Nottingham Forest only let in 6 goals.

Still if this goes for £24.99 for the 360 (or there abouts) its a definate buy for me. First season will be with Juventus in Series B, should be an interesting challenge.

    Furbs - he is.

Afray - the control system is MUCH better. It uses tabs at the top of the screen for menus now, and you use the shoulder buttons to go through them. Zoom is not an option though...

Tomo - the very latest firmware for the PSP game.

Morriss - not in our control. If we're allowed to do them, we will, just like we do for PC/Mac.

Oh, and by the way - the PSP game has a network mode too (which I don't think was mentioned). Which is nice. And lots of extra leagues. And international management. And multiple scouts. Etc etc.

Thanks Miles. I'm talking 360 btw. I know Champ Man has Dl'able updates so hopefully MS (I take it it's them) will allow you too.

So the control system on 360 is a bit like LMA now then? I like it on LMA, so that would work.
