Live Killzone 2 interview today

Ask Guerrilla Games about the beta.

Eurogamer readers will be able to question Killzone 2 developer Guerrilla Games at 3pm GMT today in our latest live text interview.

Senior online game designer Eric Boltjes and senior producer Angie Smets will be joining us for the chat, which will focus on the current beta test. They'll be typing all the way from Holland, which is flat and attracts bicycles.

Our live interviews let readers pop questions to Guerrilla Games through a moderator, before the response pops up magically on the very same article page. Astonishing. And you don't even have to refresh the page.

All that's left to do is think up some questions for the pair. Killzone 2 certainly proved to be very popular at the Eurogamer Expo, and shooter fans often place rather a lot of importance on multiplayer, so we're sure there will be no shortage of queries.

Perhaps you want to know about the modes on offer, or the customisation options; can I stick a big twirly moustache under my nose, for example? Or maybe you're the type who likes earning experience to unlock better weapon load outs? Or, of course, you could be the type simply after a quick pick up and play experience.

We'll start gathering questions roughly an hour before kick-off.

It wouldn't surprise me if most of the questions were written in English, even though they are Dutch. English people lack etiquette.

open beta when? and how they feel about the game being finished for two months but not allowed to release it due to resistance 2 and sony's big push on it.

deathdealer619, Considering the number of high profile releases during the lead up to christmas I think it's good thing the game's set for release in the early half of next year.

Why do soldiers of the future in KZ2, GOW2 etc wear battle armour that makes them look like Michelin Men.
  • Apologie #11 3 years ago

This one will be hands down the best 2009 game, stellar graphics, sick multiplayer, incredible gamplay, impressive physics, great atmosphere, extreme attention to detail etc... an amazing product... cant wait to buy it.

Better than God Of War 3 though?

    @Cunninglinguist
English people lack the desire to learn an obscure language that is hardly used anywhere outside of its native country.

    Fixed. Geen probleem.

You people may give him stick you may even block him and he may be araving fanboy but one thing you can't deny is Apologie's unbridled optimism and general rosy outlook on all things ps3 - it must be better than continually moaning...

Considering the glut of decent shooters over the past few years, what genuinely new elements does the Killzone 2 single player have to offer?
  • degville #16 3 years ago

Its interesting when reviews people say about new elements or new features or bringing something new, they never actually suggest anything themselves....
