English MGS: Peace Walker demo "soon" News

PSP News by Tom Bramwell

3 November, 2009

Kojima Productions has said to expect a fully localised English version of the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo "soon".

The 150MB sampler is already available in Japan.

Speaking on the KP podcast, reps said that the English version would include voiceovers from the usual suspects - David Hayter, Tara Strong, Chris Randolph and so on - along with subtitles.

Peace Walker is Hideo Kojima's latest baby, and picks up the series' story after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

Check out our recent hands-on preview to see why it's one of the best-looking prospects for the PSP in 2010.

I hope the demo features the multiple-Snake-in-a-box mechanic. I can't wait to try this one out...

The reps have names you know - Christopher and Christine. The leader, Sean, is currently in LA regarding voice recordings, no doubt for PW. I was hoping there would be an english version, but didn't think they would do it. KP giving the westerners some love
