Dragon Age Awakening DLC revealed
One for the fantasy Amgarraks.
BioWare has unveiled Golems of Amgarrak for Dragon Age: Origins.
Due out on 10th August, this downloadable add-on follows a missing Dwarven expedition into an ancient underground ruin where an army of golems was being created. What happened down there? You'll have to find out.
You can import Wardens used for the original Dragon Age: Origins campaign, or you can create a new high-level character if you fancy trying another class or something along those lines. You've always been a bit experimental.
Golems of Amgarrak offers rewards that transfer into both the Origins and Awakening campaigns, and also introduces new characters, "never-before-seen" creatures, an "engrossing" storyline and "challenging" puzzles.
Golems of Amgarrak will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The add-on will cost $5 or 400 Microsoft Points/BioWare Points.

A palette swap of an existing creature with a different name.
an "engrossing" storyline
Another flimsy excuse to get you into a dungeon crawl.
"challenging" puzzles.
You need to find a key hidden in a chest. But this time, the chest is obscured by the camera.

Dammit Bioware, this is getting confusing!

For some reason I never really minded going into yet another cave in Oblivion like I did dungeons in Dragon Age. Perhaps it was because I knew I'd be in there for several hours fighting yet more skeletons (why was it always skeletons? Even in the werewolf quest, skeletons)

Need emergent behaving game-world, then all these new quests being slotted in would not be out of context to your game, no matter what point of it you are at.
