Bethesda confirms Brink delay News

Bethesda has told Eurogamer that yes, Brink has been delayed until autumn 2010.

The news comes weeks after Splash Damage boss Paul Wedgwood stood confidently by a spring 2010 release for his game.

An explanation was absent. Whether the ambitious shooter needs more time, or whether Bethesda wants out of a busy Q1 2010 remains speculation.

Bethesda is throwing the kitchen sink at Brink to ensure the single-cum-multiplayer shooter performs on the biggest scale next year.

Haven't really bothered looking at this one yet. So far there's been nothing substantial said about it to get me excited about it, plenty of screenshots but little real information. This coupled with the quality of recent Bethesda titles leaves me a little sceptical as to whether or not Brink will actually be any good.

In fact, the only real information we have now is that Elder Scrolls 5 will be 2011 at the earliest so that Bethesda doesn't have to run two big marketing campaigns at the same time.

For once, I'm actually with Earl on this one! That's not really very funny, a little obvious, and the way you told it turned something that could be construed as acceptably casual racism(and that's a bit of a stretch), to something that just sounds pretty racist.

And I'm saying that as a fan of some pretty sick, warped humour. Especially if it involves drowning kittens or something... xD

Well i thought i was funny. and im not racist in the slightest. im irish and my wife is french. i really dont care about race or colour. anyone's fair target for a joke or humour. you can either laugh at everybody or nobody imo.

if people take them selfs to seriously that's their problem as far as i'm concerned

Hmmm, Fallout New Vegas by Obsidian (Published also by beth) is due next autumn. My guess is they will push back Fallout New Vegas now...:/
