We insulted you already with the so-called 'VIP DLC' which just took existing maps, and moved the checkpoints around. We called these 'Map Packs' even though they were ALREADY ON THE DISC and just remotely activated them.
Now we're taking same maps (which are still on the disc, remember) and moving the various check and spawn points around, AGAIN, and now charging you for the privilege (the AI already exists for the singleplayer campaign, making them spawn in a multiplayer map is piss easy)
AND if that weren't enough, for a mere HALF WHAT THE GAME COSTS NEW (or a third, depending on where you bought it), we'll flip a tiny little switch that turns all the stuff from greyed out to available.
Anyone who buys this stuff is a complete cretin, and you're only encouraging them to screw us over even harder next time.

Especially when they released so called "free" map packs. Those maps weren't free, you paid for them upon release, they just held them back from you.
These companies are all the same, they just want to make money, loads of money. EA is just as bad as Activision.

Have to say I agree. However I don't really care what the person killing me has so it makes no difference really.
Shame this pack doesn't seem for me. I'd just like some new rush maps.
Still, my GOTY though

I loved this game for a while; but being a fan of Squad Deathmatch I quickly grew tired of the same tiny handful of maps available. DICE shot themselves in the foot with the terrible VIP code bollocks which they thought would trick owners into thinking they were getting free DLC.
Bad form indeed.

Who's sad enough to pay EA to unlock all the content for you? It just doesn't make sense, like those Time is Money DLCs on Skate 2/3. Just doesn't make sense, at all. Why buy a game, and then PAY not to play it?

Still, it probably took them all of 5 minutes to make the shortcuts - the prices are crazier than a cavalry regiment of horse armour.

I still think the MW2 maps are overpriced, 800ms points would be a fair price.
I really hope these trends don't continue, because overpriced map packs and locked content on the disc made me sell both games.

way to treat customers as dumb while trying to rape their wallet.
I'll think twice before buying any new EA game

Now that its all about selling to the dumbass casuals, we get charged for turds like this.
I hate the way the games business is going. It seems to be becoming more and more about how much the consumer can be ripped off rather than supplying us with a great product.
Thanks capitalism!!

We're did it all go wrong!! Thank fuck the game itself is incredible.
