Black Ops: Escalation PS3 release date

Another double XP weekend to celebrate.

Call of Duty: Black Ops' Escalation DLC finally arrives on PlayStation 3 from 10th June.

The pack, which launched on Xbox 360 back in early May and on PC today, adds four new multiplayer maps and a star-studded zombie expansion dubbed Call of the Dead.

To mark the occasion, developer Treyarch has announced another double XP weekend for PlayStation 3 users, running from Friday the 10th through Sunday 12th June.

For reference, Eurogamer's Wii Porter deemed the new add-on worthy of a respectable 7/10.

    Sorry Activision, Sony just gave me 4 (2 extra from US account) FREE and totally awesome games to play. I won't be going near your game. I don't own it mind but even if I did, my month, let alone my weekend is sorted :)

    "Eurogamer's Wii Porter"? Someone in the office changed their name to a console?

    @guillotine

    Or the fact that I don't like buying titles off the network unless they're discounted because I can't sell them on once I'm done. Also, I can't avoid buying something when it's free. It's free...as in you know...no charge attatched... Maybe you should go tell all the millions and millions of PSN players off too for downloading these free games and not paying for them.

    There's something called a budget which every single person has. L.A Noire is on my radar, but I can't afford it. If I buy it a year down the line like I did with Red Dead Redemption once the price is lowered and I have more time, does that somehow mean I don't think the games are of a high quality? I think you need to accept that not everyone can afford to own every "good" thing that comes along in life. Not straight away at least, be it gaming or anything else.

    Why dont they give It to gamers for free. In order to celebrate their ability to ensnare gamers with a sub-par game.
