THQ prepping downloadable title?

Something called Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team has popped up on the Australian Classification Board site.

The listing, spotted by Joystiq, doesn't give much away other than that it's been rated 'M for Mature' and is developed by THQ Digital Studios UK – the same outfit behind the recent Red Faction: Battlegrounds downloadable title.

Could it be some kind of tie-in with the impending Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine shooter perhaps? We're onto THQ now in search of answers.

I hope it's like Squad Command for the PSP, and indeed the old isometric 40k PC turn based strategy games like chaos gate. Those games are/were the shit!

'M for Mature' in Australia could mean anything, they seem to take it as personally insulting that someone should choose to stay inside playing a game instead of cultivating melanoma on the beach and refining the art of casual racism.

I still fire Chaos Gate up from time to time.

Sort of sounds like some kind of Space Hulk adaptation to me. A "kill-team" of Terminators purging a space hulk of Gean-stealers, prepping the place for analysis for the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Kill Teams is a the name for the warhammer 40k skirmish game released by fanatic could be a multiplayer mode for space marine featuring more races or small squad based play.
