Bonus mode gets chance to shine.

Nintendo 3DS game Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D launches in the UK on 1st July, Nintendo has announced.

The third-person fast-paced action shooter includes a demo for Resident Evil Revelations, a survival horror title yet to be dated.

The Mercenaries 3D is based on the Mercenaries bonus mode from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.

It includes eight playable characters: Chris, Claire, Jill, Wesker, Hunk, Krauser, Rebecca and Barry.

I've never liked the Resident Evil Mercenaries mini game... but the idea of a demo for Revelations is going to make this a little harder >_>

Bah, 30 smackers for a Resi 4 bonus mode sold as a full price game? I would have told you to do one, but like a few folks have said, that Revelations demo is one cruel and evil lure.

Ha, I called this in the story about the US release date last week...

"June 28th is a Tuesday. Games tend not to be released on a Tuesday here, instead they arrive on a Friday. The first Friday after June 28th is.... July 1st."

Well, I think it's nice of Capcom tu include a full Mercenaries game with every purchase of the Revelations demo.

... that said, I'll probably actually get this for Mercenaries (gasp!). It seems more suited for portable play.

Every time I see the 3D mercs I mean to plug my wii back in and fire up the mercs, good times,

..loved playing the machine gun guy with the mask in the village, running up, quick head shot and snapping their necks I think it was....

Was my fav game on Wii until the drought and moving to other consoles...
