It's that time again - your chance to vote for the best games of the year. And what a year it's been! We've had new Far Cry and Fallout, extra GTA and Gears of War, more Mario Kart and Metal Gear Solid, plus hundreds of less alliterative titles.

So what are your favourites? Now's your chance to have your say with the Eurogamer reader vote 2008. All you have to do is visit the survey page and pick your top five games, in order of preference. There's also room to throw in a few words about why you've made your choices.

Voting closes on Monday 15th December, so get democratising.
