There's going to be a Blockbuster Nintendo Switch eShop sale later this week

Nintendo teases up to 75% off the console's biggest games.

Nintendo has teased an upcoming Nintendo Switch eShop sale that promises up to 75 per cent off some of the console's blockbuster games.

The news came in a Tweet this morning from the Nintendo of Europe account, where it was confirmed that Super Mario Maker 2 and Fire Emblem: Three Houses would both be 33 per cent off in the Blockbuster sale.

Convenient timing for the latter, what with the Cindered Shadows DLC set for release later this week, too.

Given the name, we can likely assume that more of the console's biggest releases will feature in the upcoming promotion. The Tweet specifically mentions “critically acclaimed” games, which can probably be applied to a great majority of first-party Switch titles. When was their last bad game, seriously?

The Blockbuster Nintendo Switch sale starts on 13th February at 2pm GMT. We'll be sure to dig into everything on offer once the sale is live and highlight some of the better deals. Anything you've had your eye on that you'd like to see in particular?
