Nier to get global release in April

Square Enix's new action RPG on track.

Square Enix has announced a worldwide Nier release date of 23rd April, for both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Nier's an action RPG made by Cavia and published by Square Enix, lest you be confused and think this is a new Final Fantasy spin-off.

In the game, protagonist Nier tries to find his daughter amid a world plagued by the Black Scrawl disease. There's character development, spells, big swords, conversations and a story.

Take a look at the most recent Nier video for a better idea of what the game is about.
