Harvest Moon at TGS

Wii version to debut in Japan.

Farm hands rejoice! Marvelous Interactive has confirmed that the Tokyo Games Show will be the launching platform for the latest instalment of its Harvest Moon series, exclusive to the Nintendo Wii.

It's not known at this stage whether the rather boringly titled Harvest Moon Wii will be playable or just demonstrated with videos and a bunch of ladies dressed in dungarees wielding hoes, but either way, it's exciting news.

Other confirmed titles on show during the September event - when Nintendo is expected to finally come good on the Wii launch date and pricing details - include PSP titles Valhalla Knights, Fish Eyes Portable and Pilot ni Narou Flying All-Stars.

The company will also be shouting about DS games such as Luminous Arc, Harvest Moon DS 2, Chao Dream Touch, Negima, Kawa no Nushi Tsuri, Kaiketsu Zorori and Rune Factory - though how many of those will hit these shores is a mystery at present.

Finally, attendees in the land of the rising sun will also be shown Princess Princess, Zero no Tsukai Ma, Cluster Age, Happiness and Shimoon on the PS2. Marvellous!

The Tokyo Games Show begins September 22nd 2006, and Eurogamer will be trekking out there to make sure you have all the latest info as soon as it's announced.
