Motley Crue have decided to release their upcoming single as a downloadable track for Rock Band.

The song, Saints of Los Angeles, will be available on Xbox Live in the US today, and Thursday on the redesigned PlayStation Store.

It will cost GBP 0.99 or 80 Microsoft Points (GBP 0.68 / EUR 0.96) to begin with, and go live with three other classic rock songs.

These are "Message in a Bottle" by The Police, "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and "Call Me" by Blondie.

This follows news from yesterday that Def Leppard will release its upcoming single as a downloadable song for Guitar Hero III.

Rock Band is due out for Xbox 360 on 23rd May, and will follow on PS3, PS2 and Wii later this summer.
