Monster Madness demo

On Live now. NOW.

A demo for Monster Madness has invaded Xbox Live today, gobbling the brains of all those who stood in its way. Like Tom. Horrible Tom.

It's a weighty package at around 434MB, but it will give you a good idea of what to expect when the full game is released next month.

Monster Madness is in development at Artificial Studios, and was originally shown as far back as E3 2005, when Microsoft first unveiled the Xbox 360.

It's a b-movie and comic book inspired top-down shooter that gives more than a subtle nod back to classics such as Zombies Ate My Neighbours.

You take the role of one of four teenagers as you attempt to hack and shoot your way through swarms of graveyard ghoulies, upgrading your death-dealing capabilities as you go. However, the real fun of the game will come in multiplayer mode, where you'll be able to romp through the campaign co-operatively with up to four pals, or duke it out in 16-player deathmatches on Xbox Live.

Monster Madness is due for release on Xbox 360 and PC on 25th May. Head over to our Monster Madness gamepage to cast an eyeball over the latest trailers and screenshots.
