Indie games out in force for Expo '09

Thirteen of the best on show.

Here at Eurogamer we do our very best to represent every facet of the glittering gaming diamond, covering not only the AAA, big-budget blockbusters but also the shiny indie gems. It makes sense, then, that we're extending this policy to the games available on the show floor of this year's Expo - emulating last year's tremendously popular indie arcade with another batch of top-quality titles whose ethos is more bedroom than boardroom.

Some of these you'll doubtless recognise, others will be territories ripe for exploration. They're all noteworthy titles, but in particular we should point out that the rather lovely Dyson is the spawn of one of very own forumites, the inestimable Haowan. Good lad.

Three of these independent projects are so fresh that they've not even been named yet, and there are even games being developed specifically for the Expo itself. If that's not cutting-edge enough for you, then I can only suggest that you shut up, go home and think about what you've done. Then buy a ticket.
