Halo Infinite has a 60fps campaign - and a massive ring

Skyrim.

Halo Infinite's campaign runs at 60 frames per second, Microsoft has confirmed.

343's upcoming shooter is set on a Halo ring "that is several times larger than the last two Halo games combined", Microsoft added.

Microsoft showed off campaign gameplay of Halo Infinite during its Xbox Series X showcase and revealed new gameplay mechanics (including that grappling hook).

What's interesting is Microsoft mentions you have the freedom to explore the Halo ring, which suggests an open-world of sorts.

Halo Infinite is an Xbox Series X launch title, and is also due for PC and Xbox One.
