Microsoft has put out a new Halo 4 trailer showcasing the UNSC weapons.

Weapons old and new are shown off in brief gameplay clips, but you get a decent sense of what they're all about.

Returning weapons include the Assault Rifle, the Magnum, the Battle Rifle, the DMR, the Rocket Launcher, the Shotgun, the Sniper Rifle and the Spartan Laser, and these all work as expected.

New weapons include the Sticky Detonator, the Railgun and the Saw. The Sticky Detonator shoots out a sticky grenade which can be activated at the player's leisure. The Saw appears to be a high velocity rifle, akin to the Assault Rifle but MORE BADASS. And the Railgun charges before letting off a high-power bolt.

Oh, and don't worry about the dubstep that plays on top of the trailer. Yes, much-loved Halo composer Martin O'Donnell isn't working on the game, but we're pretty sure the track won't make it into the OST. Well, fingers crossed, anyway.

Speaking of sound, Microsoft put out a video that focusses on the sounds of the UNSC weapons, which have been rebuilt from the ground up. It's more or less the video above without the dubstep.
