Capcom's Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts heads up a trio of titles to hit the Wii's Virtual Console shop in North America this week.

For 800 Wii Points, gamers can grab the third game in the much-loved Ghosts 'n Goblins series for the Super Nintendo, which follows Arthur on his quest to once more rescue the princess.

Close in tow is Sword of Vermillion at 800 points, the Yu Suzuki-designed RPG for the Mega Drive (released in Europe on Friday) that puts you in the boots of King Erik's son - who just happens to be on a quest of revenge against the evil wizard Tsarkon.

Last but not least is mid '80s platform favourite Elevator Action for the NES, which will cost you 500 points. Here, you play as a spy who has to sneak into a building using secret papers he finds along the way. You'll get a pistol, a strong kick, an elevator and some light-switch know-how to help you take out guards residing on different floors.

Expect both Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts and Elevator Action to be added to the European VC titles soon.
