The first set of DLC for Assassin's Creed: Revelations will be a multiplayer character pack, publisher Ubisoft has announced.

Due out on 13th December and priced at 320 Microsoft Points/$3.99, the Ancestors Character Pack includes four new multiplayer characters - the Privateer, Corsair, Brigand and the Gladiator, each with unique taunts, weapons and assassination moves.

The latest entry in Ubisoft's action franchise arrived in UK shelves today.

"Where Brotherhood enhanced the thrill of being Ezio Auditore, Revelations distracts from it," wrote John Teti in Eurogamer's 7/10 Assassin's Creed: Revelations review. "Ezio may look old, but it's the series itself that really shows its age."
