Eurogamer.net Podcast #47

GT5! Pigsy's Perfect 10! WARFACE.

Well, there goes another November. Was it good for you? We've had thrills, spills, $650m takes, and even a unique insight into how Kinect aggravates Ellie's neighbour. We've also had some podcasts, of which this is one.

Host Tom Champion once again takes up the reins and lashes them against the taut, handsome musculatures of Tom Bramwell and Oli Welsh as they journey together through recent headlines and accounts of what they've been playing.

What have they been playing? Between them, there's been a fair amount of Gran Turismo 5, as you might imagine - it seemed only appropriate after 1031 years in development (one for each car) to actually play the thing - and some dabbling in World of Warcraft again ahead of the launch of Cataclysm.

But we've also been downloading add-ons - for Alan Wake, mysteriously, and Ninja Theory's underappreciated Enslaved, although whether Pigsy's Perfect 10 (surely it's just one person's opinion?) is worth getting excited about is another question.

In the headlines this week Crytek has been making its WARFACE, a game which sounds like it may be more fun to mention in conversation than it will be to play (unless you're a Korean shooter fan with no money, anyway), while one of the BioWare doctors has been having a moan that too many games are released.

We tuck hungrily into these issues as well as the furore about malfunctioning PS3 copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops - and there's even time to talk about the 2010 Forum Awards, a thread about the anatomy of a gamer (not what you think), and of course hyphens.
