Eurogamer.net Podcast #33

BioShock Infinite! Deus Ex! PSP2! Kinectimals!

Guten tag! Wie gehts?! Yes we've been to Germany again and have now returned with exciting tales of new games, exotic unannounced hardware and more.

This week on the podcast we discuss at least eight games, including BioShock Infinite, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and - at long and exciting last - Kinectimals.

Yes, podcast host Tom Bramwell has now played Kinectimals - the spiritual successor to Viva Pinata, at least in his eyes/head - and has stories to tell about rolling on the floor and being gobbed on by a fictional tiger.

In the news section we discuss the big stories coming out of gamescom, like this site's revelation that the next generation PSP has touch-sensitive controls, the PS3 being hacked, and the news that some Italian city officials are pissed off about flags in Gran Turismo 5 or something.

We also touch on British Defence Secretary Liam Fox's reaction to Medal of Honor, and the ongoing war of words between him, the tabloids and EA about whether it's cool to play as the Taliban in multiplayer. Rabble rabble!

Brammers is joined for this digest of news and sausage by veteran games industry man, former 2K Games PR and current Eurogamer contributor Al Bickham, and by our own news editor Wesley Yin-Poole, who even sells us on the idea of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (you can play as a dog!)

Finally, we announce the winner of the recent SteelSeries competition to win a StarCraft II mouse mat signed by the game's developers, and we give away an exciting Xbox Live Arcade game.

Well, we give away an Xbox Live Arcade game.
