If the Medal of Honor demo proved a bit chunky for your ailing modem or what-have-you, then you'll be pleased to hear that the demo of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion - a sort of modernisation of Transport Tycoon - is available in two flavours, including a 30MB version that sacrifices the music files to save space.

For those unperturbed by sizeable downloads, there's also a 125MB-odd version featuring the music, available here. In both cases, you get to play three tutorial levels as well as the Boulder Breakers maps, according to reports.

Locomotion, which Sawyer first mentioned in April, is due out from Atari this Friday according to retailers, and you can find out plenty more about it by reading Sawyer's comments from earlier this year here.
