Army of Two 2 gets release date

The 40th Day to ship in January.

EA Montreal has announced a release date for Army of Two: The 40th Day.

The second instalment in the co-op shooter series will hit the shops on 8th January in Europe. Americaland will get it four days later.

If you pre-order the game you'll get exclusive access to the new multiplayer mode, Extraction, when The 40th Day launches. Everyone else will have to wait until a month after the game goes on sale.

Extraction pits four players against waves of enemies as they move through a ruined Shanghai. The idea is to work as a unified team, developing strategies together in order to survive.
