Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to get 3v3 Gunfight, additional loadouts and a raft of bug and exploit fixes

Oh, and there's a public development Trello board, too.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will get 3v3 Gunfight, additional loadouts and a raft of bug and exploit fixes, developer Infinity Ward has said.

In the first major community update of 2020, Infinity Ward said it'll also bring back the Gunfight Tournament, last seen in November 2019.

Elsewhere, Infinity Ward promised to tackle a number of bugs and exploits currently hot topics within the community. Among them is a fix for an exploit that sees players get out of the map in Ground War (Emma reported on glitchers in Ground War yesterday), and mission collision on containers on multiplayer map Cargo.

It looks like Infinity Ward plans to up the communication with the Modern Warfare community, and even made public a Trello board showing various issues the developer is tracking.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare has a public development Trello board now.

Infinity Ward said it wants to keep players more updated, and promised playlist updates on Tuesday, developer diaries or behind the scenes blogs on Thursdays, and a community update blog on Fridays. This is in addition to patch notes and the aforementioned Trello board.

Infinity Ward's renewed commitment to communication with its players is of course welcome, and it seems to be going down well after a fractious recent period last year.
