The best Xbox Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2018 deals: bundles, games, accessories and more

All the best Xbox One S and Xbox One X bargains in one place.

Update 26/11 Happy Cyber Monday one and all! There are a couple of last-minute Black Friday deals left over for Xbox One: the cheapest requires you to actually go to a store, with Xbox One S 1TB with 2 Controllers available at Tesco for £159.99 (RIP, Tesco Direct). Amazon has got a couple of new offers for a bit more, with an Xbox One S 1TB with Forza Horizon 4, Red Dead Redemption 2 w/Steelbook for £219.98 or a Xbox One S 1TB with Battlefield V & Red Dead Redemption 2 w/Steelbook for £228.98 if you're not keen on cars. We've updated all the other offers on Xbox One X and Xbox One games and accessories further down the page.

If you want the World's Most Powerful ConsoleTM then we reckon that the best Xbox One X Black Friday deal is at Currys, where you can get an Xbox One X, Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 7, Tekken 7 & Project Cars 2 Bundle for £359.99. If you're in the States, consider the Xbox One X 1TB Gold Rush Special Edition Battlefield V Bundle with Gears 4 and Battlefield 1943 for $429 from Microsoft direct.

Those are just the highlights, though - there are plenty of Xbox One S bundles out there, with a huge range of different games packed in. Forza Horizon 4 is the most common, but there are some tempting collections including Doom and Death of the Outsider, plus of course variations on the official Xbox One Fallout 76 and Battlefield 5 bundles, both of which probably seemed like safer bets for the Microsoft marketing plan back at the start of the year, compared to right now. In addition, with Cyber Monday also nearing close, we're expecting plenty more deals from smaller retailers dropping this weekend and next week.

Again, there's a wider selection of offers available, and we've gathered the pick of them on this page for your consideration. Use the links above to hop to the latest Xbox One Black Friday deals we've found - we're going to be updating this page all day, and over the weekend as we head into Cyber Monday.

The best Xbox One S Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2018 console and bundle deals

We'll start things off with a look at the very best in Xbox Black Friday and Cyber Monday console sets, which mostly features Xbox One S consoles bundled with a mixed array of titles ranging from new releases to items obviously marked for stock clearance. We'll also be keeping a keen eye out for possible discounts on newer games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, although the odds of bigger Xbox titles being reduced substantially (even if it is the season) are rather low. We can also expect Xbox One S consoles to shift below the £200 mark this Black Friday, and potentially some above-average bundles on the newer Xbox One model.

In the US:

Despite having invented the Black Friday sales, the US retailers haven't really gone into them with the same level on enthusiasm as their compatriots in the UK, at least as far as Xbox One S bundles go - there's a smaller range to choose from. Nevertheless, these are the best Xbox One bundle deals that we've found.

The best Xbox One X deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2018

Microsoft's botching of the Xbox One launch is the stuff of industry legend, but it finally lurched into the lead - in power if not in sales - with the Xbox One X, which is significantly more powerful than the other consoles on the market and makes a remarkable difference to standard Xbox One games. Notably, in spite of Rockstar's epic Red Dead Redemption 2 partnering with PlayStation 4, our friends at Digital Foundry actually found that the game played best on latest Xbox One above all other formats.

It's not just new games that benefit. Many older games have seen 4K or "Enhanced" patches over the past year, including Final Fantasy XIII and the original Red Dead Redemption, with developers even going back to their original assets and porting them over for use over the 4K console.

The newer Xbox One originally landed just before Black Friday last year, so it was a little too soon to expect any major discounts. That of course is not the case in 2018 as it's had a full year, so we're starting to see a fair few more console bundles that offer the machine with some games to go with it at a cheaper price than buying them individually. It's not been aggressively discounted yet, but here are the best offers we've found so far.

Best Xbox One Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2018 game deals

Next, we'll take a look at the best Xbox Black Friday and Cyber Monday game deals we've found so far this year. We'll be looking out all season for discounts on games both classic, brand new and just plain strange.

Best new Xbox One games in the UK:

Best classic Xbox One games:

By classic, we essentially mean older: although some of these Xbox One games are truly fabulous. There's even the odd Xbox 360 title that's been remastered and dragged into the noughties, or games ported out recently onto the Xbox One from other platforms such as PS4 and PC. Stick with us for all the latest deals and steals, we'll be updating this page daily as Black Friday nears ever closer.

Meanwhile, over the pond, Amazon, Best Buy and Newegg are getting seriously onto the deals, with Xbox One titles new and classic alike being discounted across the board.

Xbox One accessories you should look for

You can't go far wrong with Xbox accessories. A well as official controllers (none of that rip-off gear), we'll be spotting for discount hard-drives and fancy knick-knacks. In addition, you can check out our friends at USGamer's Xbox Live Gold Black Friday prices for the best Xbox membership deals across the UK and US.

A strong array of offers, all told. We've seen a clear advantage on the Microsoft side during this year's Black Friday sales, with steeper price cuts and a more diverse range of offers than its arch-enemy the PS4. Given that Sony's been sat on a huge sales lead since this console generation dawned, it is perhaps not surprising that Microsoft has come into Black Friday on the back foot - save for the generally agreed technical superiority of the Xbox One X - and has resorted to some more generous Black Friday deals on Xbox One in the hope of making up some of the gap.

Now that Black Friday itself is drawing to a close and the time-limited offers are coming to an end, our thoughts are turning to Cyber Monday. Traditionally this has not been as rich a source of deals as the preceding week - not least, we suspect, because everybody's too exhausted to face doing it all over again. Nevertheless, we shall remain vigilant for any further Xbox One deals, and will update this page with any that we find.

What and when is Cyber Monday?

Black Friday and its onslaught of deals are rolling over, just in time for "traditional" sales event Cyber Monday, which falls on the Monday after Thanksgiving. We've seen a raft of excellent Xbox One deals during the festive period, with prices plummeting across the board on Xbox games, accessories and on the mystical and beefy Xbox One X. The phrase Cyber Monday, as comically outdated as it sounds now, was unsurprisingly created by marketers in 2005, after research indicated that online shopping spiked on that day. Although Black Friday is no stranger to the internet, Cyber Monday is perceived as the infamous day's online equivalent.

Not just held in the US and UK anymore, the online deals day is now observed as far afield as Japan and Argentina. As Cyber Monday runs a little smaller than the Black Friday frenzy (although it certainly holds it own), smaller retailers are more likely to get involved, which means we're hoping to see some great Xbox One deals from retailers that may have not joined the Black Friday shopping extravaganza.
