Ubisoft has launched a half hour-long film prequel to Far Cry 5 via Amazon Prime.

I just watched it and it's actually not bad - it follows three vloggers as they blunder head first into the Eden's Gate cult while researching it for a documentary series.

The fact they start their vlog by saying "WHAT'S UP" felt suitably accurate.

Far Cry 5: Inside Eden's Gate also works as an introduction to the religious group's leadership, as played by the cast of the game itself. Joseph Seed, AKA the "Father" of the cult, is suitably creepy while looking a bit like a cut-price Matthew McConaughey.

Far Cry 5 the video game launches on the 27th of this month, which has definitely crept up.

Have Amazon Prime? You can watch Far Cry 5: Inside Eden's Gate for free. Well, you need to be subscribed, but you know what I mean.
