Michel Ancel reveals PlayStation 4-exclusive Wild gameplay

Shaman origins.

Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil creator Michel Ancel has shown off an extended slice of gameplay from Wild, his new PlayStation 4 exclusive.

The prehistoric adventure game will allow you to possess and play as numerous wild animals, including a bear, rabbit and snake.

You can also call upon deities for aid - in the clip below you see a character suffering from a snake bite.

The gameplay, shown off by Ancel himself at Sony's Paris Games Week 2015 press conference, included a section where various animals were used to infiltrate an enemy tribe's camp.

Ancel stressed that everything shown was part of the game's emergent world.

Wild is the work of Ancel and other close members of his Ubisoft Montpellier development team that are working separately from Ubisoft at a new startup, named Wild Sheep.

Ancel is also believed to be (slowly) still working on Beyond Good & Evil 2, although we haven't had an update on that in a while (again).
